Myriad Genetics
Myriad Genetics, Inc., based in Salt Lake City, Utah, is a gene discovery and genetic testing company focused on the discovery and commercialization of genes involved in major common diseases, including cancer, cardiovascular disease, and metabolic and respiratory disorders. A group of Myriad Genetics scientists led the teams that discovered the complete sequence of both the BRCA1 and BRCA2 genes.
