The Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) is the credentialing agency for
The American Dietetic Association. The purpose of the Commission is to
protect the nutritional health and welfare of the public by establishing and
enforcing certification and recertification standards for the dietetics profession.
Credentials are issued to individuals who meet its established qualifications to
enter and continue in the practice of dietetics at entry, specialty and fellow
levels.
