Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, (COPD), is now the fourth leading cause of death in the USA, costing the US $23.9 billion or more per year. If you have been exposed to smoke, by smoking, or as in second hand smoke, through pollution, like forest or brush fires or other similar causes. You have been exposed to the possibility of having COPD. There is an additional method of getting this disease, YOU MAY HAVE BEEN BORN WITH IT, AND NOT KNOW IT! Then there are the oxygen tanks and oxygen concentrator you may be fastened to for the rest of your life)
